Two-Mile Virtual Relay, at Kings College swimming pool, 25 October – 6 December 2025
This fun annual event will take place in our swimming pool throughout November and beginning of December and you are all encouraged to join in this year. Let Nicky know when you have your relay and night you would like to swim, and if you would also like to volunteer to be a timer to count laps.
This is a great opportunity for you to meet and swim with team members, dive off the starting block (if you want), and receive your FC 100m splits. You can form your own single gender or mixed gender age group relay team or let us know your interest and we will help you form a team.

The Virtual Two-Mile Relay is an annual competition where relay teams consisting of two, three, or four swimmers each swim 100 yards (or time-adjusted meters) in rotation until 3600 yards is completed. Swimmers can start from a starting block, the pool deck, or push off from the wall as long as their feet do not leave the starting platform before the preceding teammate touches the wall. Men and women compete separately in age groups of 18+, 25+, 35+, and so on in 10-year increments. The age of the youngest swimmer (as of Dec. 31, 2024) determines the age group of the team.
- There are separate categories for Men, Women, and Mixed.
- Mixed relays must have 2 or 4 relay team members with equal number of men and women.
Each team is required to have a timer to count laps and record the final time. You can use the official event split sheet to record each 100 split and team data.
Swim England East Midlands Open Masters & Senior Age Group Championship, Sunday 7 December 2025
